The Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation was honored recently by the UMKC Dental Hygienists Alumni Association at the Mid-States Dental Conference held at the Crown Center Hyatt in Kansas City on March 16th.
The “Reaching Out for Excellence in Dental Health Award” was presented Dr. Kevin Cassidy, President of the Kansas Dental Association and member of the Board of Directors of the foundation who attended the luncheon. The KDCF was recognized for outstanding commitment and dedicated efforts for its Kansas Mission of Mercy dental clinic.
To date, the Kansas Mission of Mercy has treated more than 10,000 patients with dental services valued at $5.4 million.
