See you in Manhattan

In just a few days, the 2009 KMOM Manhattan dental project will be under way. We can't thank you enough for your help in making this event a success. If not for your efforts, the opportunity for us to provide dental care would not be possible.

There will likely be more information over the next few days we would like to share with you. We will be putting that information out in a number of ways. First, more than fifty of you have signed up for our mobile phone text messaging. This allows us to quickly and easily send important announcements during the clinic to you directly. If you have not yet done so, please take a minute and sign up. We are also on Facebook. If you are a Facebook user, connect with us and follow our updates through the weekend.

We will also be updating information to the website as we go along, including video updates on KMOM TV. We want your video as well. Grab your camera or your phone, record some video and either upload it and send us the link or send us an email and we'll upload them. Record what you see or your own thoughts and comments about what you see. If you upload photos, send us
the link and we'll be happy to share those too. If possible, tag photos, videos and other content as "KMOM09" to help us.

Of course, we'll be uploading photos, stories and other announcements to the KDCF website and blog. Check in, follow our progress and share your thoughts and stories. We are trying to not only keep you informed, but to create an opportunity to interact and share the mission with others.

We'll also have the KMOM Posters available for sale to help us raise money so we can continue to provide our free dental care service. Children at the Garden City KMOM Clinic left behind dozens of drawings and art work, thanking the volunteers for the dental care they and their family received. We saved that artwork, selected some of the best, and created a beautiful 18x24 inch poster celebrating the passion and care given by so many people. The Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation is selling these posters for $20 each and the proceeds will support our mission to support dental health here in Kansas. With your help, we can continue to provide care to those who cannot afford the dental care they desperately need. Click here to order and help us make a difference.
